Lucid Liars bring their album Hard Times to Dundee on June 20th, performing the record live in full at Hidden.
The show will follow the album’s arc across ten tracks — from its more cinematic edges to its sharper, rhythm-led moments. The title track hinting at a widescreen feel, somewhere between Ennio Morricone and Radiohead, with songs such as Strawberry Wine leaning into something looser and melodic, and By My Side suggesting a more angular, restless energy.
Across the set, the band draw on a palette shaped by the likes of Frightened Rabbit, The Black Keys, Joy Division Interpol, blending shoegaze textures with brass flourishes and a shifting male–female vocal dynamic.
